An inventive wolfdog
Author: mijke (Jan 06, 2004 - 12:18 AM)
Stories I know wolfdogs ary very inventive to attain one’s end. But sometimes this inventivety is not very pleasant for their owners!

We live with our pack in a big house with 4 floors. And when we are at home, all the dogs includes the CsW’s can walk free around.
Last week I was working on the comp. And I heard on an other floor some noice with waterbaskets, but I did not pay any atention. Later on I was upstairs and saw, the door of my sleepingroom was open. I heard some strange noise and switched on the light. And then I was dumbfounded for some minutes.... (and that is not normal for a human like me! ) And because of what? Imagine this:

Karlik (one of my CsW’s) had digged all the blankets and sheets out of my bed, had made a hole in the waterbed……..and.......now he stood knee-deep in the water and was very busy with drinking!!

When the owner has forgotten to fill in time all the water baskets it seems not to be a problem for a CsW!!

But at that moment I wished he had an other owner!! But in the same time I admired the natural surviving of these dogs. Befor he was several times in my bedroom and of course he had smelled there was a very big basket full with water! And when he was thirsty and could not find water in his waterbasket, for him it was complete normalt o go to the place where he smelled water before.

Who else has more "humoristic"story’s about the inventivety of his CsW??

Greetings,
Mijke (Holland)
