Our biggest prolem with our first CSV was, that Becky, (Bacardi Eden Severu)
did not like touching and striking over her back and then she bites very
hardly.
She also didnīt know her strengh of biting and that she had to
learn. In the first 4 week it was also battle with us and then you have to
know what you are doing. Do you have punishing her with voice or in another
way? And then you have to realise that you have to do with a dog with
wolfblood in his body, so think like a wolf.
A bad experience I have had with the older males at the exhibition in
Praque, about 2,5 years ago. That they were so agressive to eachother and
even to their owners. I have met the same thing about 15 years ago with the
German Shepherds and I donīt like that at all. So I hope that, in several
years, this behaviour is over because it gives not a good impression of the
race, especially in this times where there are races, they have got very
strong rules to breed with and to keep dogs in private hands. Thinking now
on Rottweilers, Dogo Argentina, Bulldogs and so on.
What we can change is more information by
breeders over the CSV and let the breeders tell about their own dogs. What
there behaviours are, the good things but also the BAD things. That they
are hunters in a certain way and that they can be agressive and not only a
nice looking and friendly dog.
