Resume of surveys - alarming result

Dear visitors,
in last two months runed here on our website 2 surveys regarding the choosing of a puppy and problems with training the CSW. Our site has already 7 language versions and the system analyzes the results individually in every language version. I worked out the total results of both surveys (status to 15.3.2002 and it can change, cause you still can vote).
The results up to now are very interesting and they showed some facts, which will be interesting not only for the breeders. I remind that voting is anonymous, so there might come to some partial distortion, however, in the total results it will not matter.

The results are showed in %. The individual columns state the results in individual language versions, the last column shows the total result. Now just a note to the Russian and French column. Because there is just a few russian owners and potentional puppy buyers, and because the french site was opened just a few ago, the results from these two columns are only complementary. Only very small percent of the total number of voting visitors came from these two countries (in total the both versions make only 3,6% of voting).

The first survey asked "What is the most important for you when choosing a puppy ?" :

From the results it is clear, that for the most of voting people is the most important the character and temperament of the puppy, only for the polish owners it is practicaly on the same level with quality of parents and breeder. Interesting results shows the importance of the price. I allow myself to speculate, that most sincere answers gave Czechs, Slovaks and Italians. Our breeders know from their experiences, that also the other interested very often discuss the price, which appears too high to them usually. Interesting also is relatively small interest of Italian voters about the quality of the breeder, and small interest of German breeders about the quality of pups parents. The reason here is probably that people here are not well informed, which is a task for the Breeders Club and for the breeders themselves. Piquancy is the small interest in the color of the puppy. Also this wish hear the breeders very often (usually the most wanted are light-grey puppies).
Now let me simplify the total results – when picking up a puppy is the most important to pick it up personally, because only this way can the future owner choose according the character. The breeder should inform the future owner about the parents of the puppy, and to show him his breeding station. The price is in total not much important, as well as the color of the puppy. So, the results are almost optimal according to non-written breeding rules.

The second survey asked "What is the biggest problem in training CSW ?" :

Almost the same high percent of self-will (it is possible to consider it as normal cast according to standard) and shyness (shy animals are not allowed to breed and shyness should be the exkluding fault also in dog shows) is very alarming. Especially because this answered also voters from the breedīs country of origin. Interesting is the low percent at independence. Partialy it may be caused by mistaking the independence for self-will. Behind the highlighting the agresivity at German voters is probably the total situation in Germany. Very interesting is the low percent of troubles with hunting instinct, about which many people complain. Interesting would be also to know, what is hidden under the answers „Other“.
Again, the simplified resume – independence and self-will can be considered for the natural casts of CSW and it is only neccessary to find the way to motivate the dog correctly, to fix the problem. Most of voters also seem to have no problems (or they can fix them easily) with the hunting instinct. Shyness is not the typical cast of our dogs in most of cases. It can be developed by ignored socialisation or by bad experiences of the dog. The shyness can cause also the agressivity of the dog. Here is the result of the survey very alarming and we all should think about this fact.
