How is a official name of breed?
Author: Pavel, Translation: Mirkawolf (Dec 06, 2001 - 02:07 PM)
FAQ-en

Official name of breed is:

Cesky - Ceskoslovensky vlcak

slovensky - Ceskoslovensky vlciak

deutsch - Der Tschechoslowakischer Wolfshund

polski - Czechoslowacki Wilczak

francaise - Chien-loup tchecoslovaque

espanol - Perro lobo Checoslovaco

italiano - Il Cane Lupo Cecoslovacco

nederland - Tsjechoslowaakse Wolfhond

english - Czechoslovakian Wolfdog

Very often you can hear the name Czech wolfdog. It is not name of breed. The breed grow up in former Czechoslovakia and on the origination, growing and recognition cooperate both nations - Czech and Slovak. It is very unfair against Slovac breeders using this uncorect name. It came probably from shortcut CsV (CzW).
