Hello all, I was thinking that it would be nice to have a topic of CsW at work :) And with that I mean photos of the work you do whit you CsW, or if you know a good photo of another CsW that works, that you want to show us all ;-)

And now I mean ALL kinds of work... Training, pulling and more...

Does your dog actually do mushroom finding???

That's amazing! Here, Morels go for about $55USD a pound.. but just a little bit north of us, you can go find search for them in the forests if you want..

My girl fantastically searches for elm leaves, but then she eats them, so it can be hardly called work :lol:. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ulmus_glabra.jpg Elm leaves are her favourite treats and work as well as meat during training :lol: I was wondering if more CSVs share her "sophisticated" ;-) taste?

But coming to work: do your CSV also signal that your mobile is ringing even if it's in another room and you can't hear it or when the sound is off?

A vegetarian-friendly CSV.. :shock: ;) A dog after my own heart!!

My Dogs only respond to tone of the film music "Kill Bill". My dog loves it. :shock:

Actually Nooooo :( he does not… But he is trailing wild pig’s and they eat mushrooms, and there fore we can walk in the woods from mushroom place to mushroom place :lol: the trails must be atleast 3 weeks old, if not there is no mushroom or just very small ones there.

If he is to hot, the trail is new and I go trail in another wood :rock_3

Mmmmm, yes I like my new pig trailing dog :lol:

No, not my boy, but he did go crazy as a puppy and always wanted to stop to eat Rosehip = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_hip

Rosehip is known as fox food here in Sweden especially in the winter time, but maybe Wolf´s eat them to ???

Don´t you be afraid of wild pigs?

I don´t know, Rona, because here are no elm trees. About 30 or 40 years ago most of them died because of a special elm-illness.

But good idea. I will order an elm and then we´ll see :) :)

Not many elms have survived here either, but you're welcome to our park, there are still a few... I'll try to persuade Lorka to try Rosehip so that she'll leave some elm leaves for your CSVs :rock_3:lol:

Yep, your right, they are all chanterelle´s, the darker one is
The one you call Yellowfoot, winter mushroom, or Funnel Chanterelle in English.

In Sweden they are not rear, but not common neither, they cost about 10-15 Euro / kg
and that is about the price on the yellow chantarelle´s to. We call it forest gold :)

Hronec eating wild pig

Yum yum, wild pig! We have had deer legs here before for the dogs- big favorite. By the way, eating can be hard work too!! :)

No, that is after work ;-) I somtimes have it at the end of a trail :)

But now I do not give legs no more, as he did eat up 100% of it including the bones :| and the same night he vomit up all the bones, dry whit no meat or fluid, just dry bones :?

Just to be sure I now feed him file , heart, liver and bigger cow bones as a reward meal (after work) :wink:PS, yes I’m crazy :lol:
