Default Wolfdog HONEST opinion

-**Good with cats**
Depends how they grow up
-Light barker
Only when needed!!
-Good with other dogs
ehm....depends....my one was very submissive with all other males up to the age of 12-13 months...now....unless they are strongly subimissive...males should stay far away...
-Good with small, pestering children
U believe for this you need to make a very strong socialization when they are small, and also it depends on their own character.
At 60 days I spent 2 months going EVERY EVENING in the city center, crowded with people.
now, any human, but in particular children and females, will be loved by him.
-VERY loyal, to all family members or even one of them
No other dog can be as loyal!!

-This dog looks and sounds like an amazing animal, and I'm hoping someone will give an honest opinion about it
There are some pros but also some cons, beware.
Wolfdogs (from my small experience) tend to live in a pack, just like wolves.
Some suffer so much to be left alone that they destroy EVERYTHING.
It's not that they are crazy, only that they hate being left alone.
Also, specially males, tend to "climb the ladder of hierarchy".
So I think you must be coerent and strikt. A no today must be a no always.
During their growth they will put you to a test, to see if you are really worth being their Alfa.
My wolfdog tested me many times, around 6 months old, around 8, around 10, around 13.
Now we live a wonderful relationship of respect and love.
If you are up to it, if there will be nothing else (sofa, jewelry, precious objects, a beautiful house...) more important than him, then no dog is better than a wolfdog.
