Default CzW owners in Ireland

Hi my name is Bob and I am a new user living in Ireland. I am very interested in this breed of dog and would like to know if there are any planned meetings or shows in the early part of 2006 so that I may attend and talk to other owners or breeders - thanks

Hello Bob,

Where do you want to meet some people to talk with??? You have to come over the see? In England there are no shows with CW.

Thanks for replying Letty - I was wondering if there were any planned meetings like the one in Poznan in november this year that would be taking place maybe next February or March. I want to meet breeders of this breed and owners so that I can talk to them and get their views on ownership on a first hand basis, because no matter how much information I get from the internet and books there is nothing like seeing it for yourself!

Now it is a bit too late, but wait for the next spring and then summer. Probably the best thing is to visit one of the summer camps for CSW´s in Czech Republic. Especially in Lazne Belohrad the summer camp turns into international event and you can see various owners, breeders and of course, wolfdogs!

Hi,

the slovak club is planning to move the term of special czechoslovak wolfdog European dog show to spring, so if Slovakia is not too far for you, just stay tuned in the upcoming events section.

If you are interested to meet more CzW owners please watch our calendar:
http://www.wolfdog.org/eng/events/
We put there info about all bigger (or more important) events - now there is only small part of all CzW meetings planned for next year so don't forget to visit it regular...

Default How to bring a puppy to Ireland

Hi there,

I'm enquiring about bringing a puppy of Czechoslovakian wofdog from Slovakia to Ireland.
Do you know how to do it if is puppy younger than 3 months? (he will be 6-7 week)
I checked the Irish law about import of pets and I found out that sometimes I can get an exception of the age under some conditions. (Maybe some exception is possible in UK, too.) But I dont know how.
Have somebody any experience with bringing or buying young puppy from another state of EU?

Can you help me?

THANX

I would think the puppy needs vaccination against rabie, anyway to travel or you have to wait 3 months to do.In some states they accept if the breeder declares that the mother of the puppy was vaccinated, to be sure about Ireland I think the best is to call the embassy...let me know how it goes I am interested too
