Gaga's Truly Subjective Manifesto
Have you read Gaga's Truly Subjective Manifesto? http://www.wolfdog.org/eng/articles/1382.html
I translated it, because I agree with almost every word and feel it might serve as a kind of "code of behaviour" for CSVs', and other dogs' owners. But since I don't take my dog to dog shows it's relatively easy for me to support Gaga's statements What are YOUR impressions and reactions to it? Do you think it should appear at wolfodg in other languages? (There is already a Lithuanian version) Do you think there is a chance it might positively influence human relations at dog shows? Don't misunderstand me: I've been to a few shows as a supporter and really enjoyed them, but we all know that sometimes people extend their not necessarily 'healthy' emotions on their dogs, competitors, not to mention the judges.... |

I agree with the manifesto. I think all gatherings of the fans of CSW should be friedly. I understand a degree of competitivness in sports and shows, but everything should be in a fair-play mode. I may love my dog above all other CSWs, but it will only live some time and I would like to have a new one later, as nice and good and all like the first. Therefore it should be in our interest to think about the good for breed, not only for our one dog...
