Default meeting other Vlcaks in the UK

I have had my Vlcak now for over 5 months in England, but we are still yet to meet another wolfdog. This is a great shame as any vlcak owner who makes efforts to socialise there dog, will realise quickly that the wolfdog is on another plane entirely to most dogs.

Are there any meetings of wolfdogs in the UK, or a UK specific club where a get together could be organised.

If not I think it would be a good idea to begin one, that is if enough like minded people could be found. I am sure an annual get together in the New Forest or Cumbria would be great fun for all, especially for our dogs.

Finally does anyone know how many Czechoslovakian Vlcaks there are registered in the UK as pets?

Please get in touch if you are near Cambridge with a Vlcak or Sarloos & would like to meet up..

Hi Harvey,

I tried to contact you through your breeder when you first got your wee girl Maybe she didn't pass on my information?...

Nobody seems to know exactly how many CsVs have been imported into the UK - something that would be good to know Group meetups are definitely a great idea, how good are you at organisation?

yes my breeder made me aware many months ago, I sent you a mail to the address she forwarded to my email. I have sent another email to you & if I can help in any way I will..

as for organisation, I cannot organise what is invisible to me. There must obviously be a will from other people to want this to happen too.

So maybe first we need to see where the wolfdogs are in this country & then I would be happy to try to help in the organising of an event in the future where everybody would be welcome to come, regardless of any past discrepencies!

I'd also love to meet up with other owners here in the UK as I've done it a few times in Czech & it's great fun meeting new people as well as watching the dogs "playing". I work 6 days on 2 off though so don't have every weekend off, if anyone's in the Lincoln area though, then look me up!
