John Slawek
I just received the tragic news that John Slawek, A CSV owner in the US, has died this morning. John was the owner of "Sophie" (Frida Crying Wolf), and a good friend to many of the owners in the US. He hosted our first CSV meeting this past June, and was very helpful with all things about our dogs. He will be greatly missed. Condolences go to his wife, daughters, and other family members.

Hi Marcy,

John's knowledge, experience, and wisdom with the CSV will be sorely missed here in the U.S.
John's impact and influence, however, will continue. He was a great teacher, pioneer, and friend for the CSV breed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and also with Sophie. Last edited by roo; 06-12-2008 at 03:54. |

My prayers are with John's family. While we didn't get a chance to meet all of you at this years meet, I did have the pleasure of speaking with him. A very intelligent man who cared so deeply about his Sophie. I will miss his thoughtful e-mails. For next years US meet, I think we will have to make it of his memory. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

We're in the States at the moment and it's very sad to hear such news.
We knew him for quite a long time through the net. Michael and Ina |
