photo wolfdog nursing from shar pei?
I saw a photo on wolfdog.org that looks like a wolfdog nursing from a shar pei. Does anybody know about this photo? Where was it taken, is the shar pei the mother? Waiting eagerly. I am wondering if my newly adopted dog is part shar pei and part wolf dog. She has a funny face.

photo wolfdog nursing from shar pei?
Hi,
I'm from Italy, and I think that the photo you are talking about concerning the dogs of Mrs. Sarka Matrasova, she has both the breeds; I'm almost sure of that because I know her. You can verify if we are talking of the same photo going on gallery, then kennels and then Arimminum. The puppy isn't the son of the shar pei, it is a real wolfdog. You can also write to Mrs. Sarka if you want to know something else. Sorry for my English. Tot ziens! Laura |

Also, thank you Laura for Mrs. Sarka's name. Your English is good. |

In Juni 2000 Monika Soukupova (kennel 'z Molu Es') brougth me a female puppy Johanka - sister of your Jolly, which was about 6 weeks old. I'm in the habit of keeping puppies at home so stick to my old Shar-pei. About 2 days later my shar-pei female decided that this small lonely wolf puppy is very little and get milk. In this time the female shar-pei didn't have puppies and also didn't have imaginary pregnancy. Out vet said me it was only her strong maternal instinct. She suckled Johanka about one week and after it she stoped; it looked as if she told herself: "now you are already bigger so you can eat alone". I send this photo to Margo because it was great for me to se how strong maternal instinct heve the bitches.

Hi
It's really fantastic! When I had my wolfdog puppie at home, my few years old mix female also was a real mother for him. Not with milk, but she cleaned the puppie, defended him and protected. The same situation was 6 mothes earlier with a doberman puppie. Now they are best friends. I hope that Johanka and shar-pei also Ela |
