Default camps training

Hi!

I have seen that in several countries in summer there are fields of training or summer fields with wolfdog

Here in Spain there are no similar meetings.
Can someone say to me of that they consist?

regards

I go there for a holiday in the first place. Then, to meet people with the same interest and exchanging information in the second place. Training is fun and belongs to it. If the dog is fine, we go for the exam, if he is not, no problem, we do it next year.

Regards,
Kerstin

edit: Most of the guests are wolfdog lovers and owner but there are people with other dogs as well and some people come for a short visit to get first hand information about CsV. Some have well trained dogs and go for the exams, other have family dogs and go there for fun. We always try to pass one exam we worked for at home and have a nice holiday. We have been to Lazne Belohrad 3 times so far and we are hopefully coming back this year as well. Hope this info helps a bit more.

Hello,

Since we have Wolfdogs we go evey year to Lasne Belohrad and/or to the camp in Slowakia.

Of course we will have holiday but also to meet other people like Kerstin said, with the same interest and speak about the race but also for traying to do the Bonitation with our dogs, because we are also breeders and in our country there is not a possibility to do, so we try in the countries of origine.

But of course there is a lot of fun and it is allways in a beautifull surrounding, where you can make tracks and you can walk for hours, so that will be our holliday.

Maybe we meet you once a time and this year we are also going to Lazne and meet there Kerstin too.

Letty

No it is not a working test but a behaviour test and a test of the dog is good enough to breed with. Every detail of his body will be messured and the dog will be judged and then the breeding comitee will decide of the dog is good enough.

But look into the database, you will find out what the Bonitation is.

Greetings,

Letty

First there is a difference between "Working summer camps" (f.e. Lazne Belohrad) and "Summer camps" (Slovakia + other summer camps).... Both types are great but there is a difference between them...

If you want to work with your dog AND pass some exams (we have something for everyone) come to Lazne Belohrad... You can train there:
- obedience
- tracking
- protection work with REALLY GREAT decoys
- prepare the dog for bonitation or dog shows
OR just have ACTIVE fun with your dog...

Everyday there is a lot to do from the early morning till deep night... In the second week pf the sumer camp you can pass exams like ZOP, ZZO, ZPU, ZVV, IPO, BH, ZM, FPr and MUCH more... We can also prepare exams for rescue dogs (and almost every kind of exam recognized in CZ) if there will be at last 6 people interested in such type of exams...

Of course there are also trips to castels, nice rocks, aso...and a lot of fun during the dancings...
But working with the dog(s) is the main point...

Other camps are a little bit different. There is also training for the dogs - obediece, protection work, tracking, preparing for dog shows and bonitation. But for example in Slovakia it is not so intensive as in Lazne Belohrad and there are no exams in the end (but there is ALWAYS bonitation on Sutarday).
But Slovakia offers you something else - active rest with your Wolfdog... Great places, nice people and a lot of fun every year...

This year Slovakian and Czech Clubs took place in the same time - I hope next year it will change and again there will be two weeks of Lazne Belohrad and AFTER IT one week of Slovakia...

Please do not ask which summer camp is better - both are different but also both are 100% worth to visit... So reserve 3 weeks of holidays if you can... Or even more (don't forget the CzW summer camp in Jevisovice and the German camp in the middle of July )
