Good post, Suski. Only I have a question. I´ve had certain news, that you sold one or two pups to Canada, where the owner (and breeder, already) claims them being very shy and not-socialised and also says very crazy things to potential owners of CSW´s.
Please, if this is truth (maybe my info is wrong), have you seen this Canadian guy in person, before you sold the pups? How did he convince you he was the right one? Cause I have my doubts..

There is a lot of people on this forum, who post very wisely (most of the time), claim themselves great breeders, always offer help and informations, but.. then when you hear the owners of their pups, see the pups from their kennels and speak with people, the truth about these breeders is often very different. And sometimes very scary.

By which I do not want to say, that you are one of them. I´ve never seen your dogs in real and so my informations about them might not be correct.

And regarding Highlandwolf, I am convinced, he came back to the forum, registered as Carlos and now he´s trying to get a male wolf for mating (see the thread "looking for a real wolf").

Hello, Mirka, and all !

And thanks for your reply.

I never said that I am a breeder like everybody must be, or that I have done all the things right.
I think that mistakes are only way for all of us to learn, and I had made my owns, not so big ones, but still.

About Canadian breeder. I never speak with him, cause he speaks only France, I don’t.
but with his wife yes. My friend knows his wife for a years, they had been co-operate with other breed, Eurasier,
and I asked from my friend if I could sell a puppy to this family.
We had long contact with Canadian lady before puppy went there, in fact from spring to autumn,
For me, Puppy was “too old” as went there (many reasons why went so late) and compared as a home changing dog, even lived only by me before.
Same was with male which went from us to Norway and have to waite Rabies tests, my opinion, too old to change home.
Both dogs had socialized well, were winners and juniorwinners, before left from us, and behave “ok” for me,
even I never said that my puppies are “open” or have excellent character.
From Canada I never heard that they said dogs are very shy, but I believe they can be, shy, at least. Both went there too old (my opinion)

How they sell puppies ,(speak about the breed) I don’t say anything, but they haven’t have puppies all the time, and I know that they don’t sell puppies just to “anyone”

I had sold puppy to incorrect person who lives in Finland as well, even we had long contact before he took puppy,
he visit us many, many times before, and I thought I know him quite good. I was totally wrong. He couldn’t handle with wolfdog,
and I took “puppy” back, even it was “too late” for many reasons, there happened no accidents with enviroment or other people, but with dog
and it’s character, yes. But as I just said, we all make mistakes, and learn from mistakes.

Now I haven’t have puppies for a two years, even we have “breedingmaterial” in Finland to use for, we don’t have enough good potential owners.

I try to do my best with the breed, and co-operate with other breeders, and owners
and I hope that we all can confess our mistakes and learn from it, not to do it again and again.

Soon can be a bit more silence from here, with puppies, with contact to all of you
I am pregnant, we will have twins, and I think I have to socialisate them as well, not only dogs..
but with them, I try to do my best as well Even they stay by me for many years, they are not made for sale

From my first “litter” I have 3 years old son, and he seems to raised and socialized well,
later we will see if I am able to raise two same age kids at same time.

Sweet dreams to all of you, and thanks for comments!

Hi Suski! Congratulations and good luck! I bet your experiences with raising CSVs pups (i.e. thus practising patience ) will help you now deal with twins! Let us know when the youngest members of your 'pack' arrive....

Hi Suski,

I forgot to congratulate you to the upcoming twins. Now you will get to know what really is hard stuff, only fun. But when the babies will sleep you can give information how everything is runing with the kids.

Greetings

Christian
