Congratulations Marcy & Galomy Oak!!! :beerchug2

What an exciting time for everyone involved with the CsV in the US! :)

How are the American pups doing? :)

Have they already been introduced to the rest of the pack? What was the reaction of the "family"?;)

Everybody is great! Young Bongo is so excited that there are dogs who actually enjoy his antics - he is a good babysitter! I am thoroughly amazed by how much waste one small puppy can produce in one day! So much cleaning!!!! They are so very friendly and curious about everything! I haven't been able to post photos to wolfdog.org from my computer, I keep on getting an error message...but I do have these photos:

I think this puppy forgot he's not a German Shepherd, I guess years of stacking instincts die hard! ;)

Haha - that particular puppy - a male - has a red collar....for a reason. So far, he has been the puppy with nerves of steel that likes to bulldoze through all the other puppies - he has now moved on to trying to boss the adults around! He seems to be screaming - working home! working home! ;)

Oh man, all this talk isn't helping my resolve any. I just keep repeating, "No time for a puppy, no time for a puppy, no time for a puppy...." ;)

They are clearly not purebred! There is a pair of clean shoes next to the puppy without being touched!;)

There is a REALLY big cat, taking care of the shoes ;)

michaelundinaeichhorn 01-02-2010 22:48

Yes, but it´s three to one!

GalomyOak 02-02-2010 02:14

Photos are so deceiving! If you will notice, the cat is rubbing all over the door...this door happens to open to my basement - where the cats eat, sleep - it is also generally a "wolfdog free zone", unless they are on leashes. She is a very sweet and tolerant cat who lets the puppies jump on her and chew on her while still purring...but rubbing on the door is her way of saying...enough!

As for the puppy - that is my lone female. I think she was happy she found something close to her size that wasn't jumping on her, biting her, or knocking her to the ground...

As for the shoes...they have not become victims...yet. I have more photos I will post later - they really prove that my pups are ALL CSV.:) Nothing is safe...

First bitch puppy in the US!

We have been blessed by Marcy - we have welcomed Galomy Oaks Aurora del Mango (call name Luna) into our home!
She is an amazing girl already - weathering New York City - Manhattan no less - like a champ!
We look forward to doing everything with her - conformation, Schutzhund, herding, Rally Obedience and even Service Work (should she like it).
Thank you Marcy - may we prove worthy of the history we have made!
