But since you have obviously lived with them for a while you should have noticed that they're definitely not like Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs. Regards, Michael |

This is "Ulain" a Male of Canis Lupus Signatus (Iberian Wolf)
5 years old and "beta" status in the pack. he is the Beta of the pack because his character is very suspicious. When there is something new in the environment, is the first to go out and look what happens but looking very far away. It is a magnificent specimen, with a perfect structure and excessive force, good teammate and very affectionate with puppy wolfs http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...11_06-0109.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...11_06-0128.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...11_06-0283.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...12_06-0068.jpg |

Excellent pictures again
Hey "Szasztin" - your "summer- wolves" are as beautiful as your photos from winter already had been.... you have a "hand" for fine photography !
In short summer coat they look a little more dog- like for my opinion... Only the eyes have all time such typical light- yellow colour . Not much dogs have this also , only Weimaraner regularly and Csw / Saarloos wolfdogs and some Northern breeds sometimes. ( My new Csw and his mother have - Zeus Lupus Ibericus and Emba von der Wolfsranch. - For I´m a little a fan of yellow eyes....) Greetings to all - Silvester from Germany |
Great pictures!

Where do these pitiful, poor animals have to spend their (I wouldn't call it so) life?
Pathetic... Please correct me if these pictures where taken during a transport in car and they normally live in a big enclosure or better, in the wild. Michael |
The first 4 do look like they are in a crate in a car (you can see the rear window and seats in the pictures) and the other 2 look like the same crate - hopefully it was during transport to a preserve o the wild.

Thanks for your answer.
Are you serious? Do they really live in a house? We had one of our hand raised wolves in the house for a week, because one of her legs was plastered. It took a lot of (re)decoration after her memorable stay... Michael |
not right in house, but in kennels. many wolfgods live so and not only wolfdogs... so there is nothing exceptional. i took these photos when they came in car to the film set (our wolfdogs were filmed in a movie together with these wolves).
|
Sorry, but I find it exceptional.
But dogs are one thing. Even if I don't like to see them in a kennel. Closing wolves in a kennel, for what reasons ever, I find exceptional too. Exceptional cruel... |
you know, all my animals live with me inside and i can't imagine that they could ever live outside in a kennel (also i understand what does it mean for a wolf as for super social animal, i had one). but 80% of people i know keep dogs outside in kennels, i mean people from different countries. this is statistics, so there is nothing to fight for.

And it is not important for me that may be (originally posted by Morian ) ..."but 80% of people i know keep dogs outside in kennels, i mean people from different countries."... It´s sad enough if this is true. Best greetings , Silvester alias Smartwolf alias Uli |

Thanks for sharring!Very beautifull animals.I like especialy the stepa wolf. What beutifull eyes.
Morian, the stepa wolf is the same size as the european ones? It's hard to believe that this gorgeous animal is the same with that ones in that stupid videos on youtoube in which an eagle attacks a so call wolf(smaller in size) in some asian countries. |
bogdan, i measured them and i can say that they are "in standard" :p 66-70 cm. but seems they have heavier bone than carpathians.
|
Sure you can keep wolves in kennels, just like kids.
http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/w...PICT0350-2.jpg But it is better not to! Jos |
