Mroczna Strzyga Gorthan

Hi all

I've been around since 2004... and finally I have my first wolfdog now.
Yes, she is dominant, stubborn, destroys, runs a lot, provokes... but she is my princess. Nothing is more important to her than being with us so all we have to do is give love and patience in return.
Her family name is Misty.

I created a blog so it's easier to share with all people who beg for photos and news.

Special thanks to Anna Galazka (exemplar breeder) and Paula/Nebulosa for teaching me things about this fantastic breed.

Cheers!

Hi André,

Congratulations from the Netherlands too. You've taken a long preparation time before you have taken a CsV!

Good luck with her

Shadowlands 24-06-2011 12:02

We hope you have lots of fun and that she rewards you for your patient wait.

Misty is a lovely family name for her - how did you choose it?

So she's like that at 5 months. You think its bad now? Just wait.:lol:

She's a cutie, though! Just watch those dominant bitches, they can be, well, bitches. :D

Misty because the word captures that misterious scenario of night fog, low lights in an empty street that I imagine related to wolfdogs :)
And it's a very feminine name.

:D Sweet but sharp as a knife, as Margo said about Merry Bell.

draggar 24-06-2011 15:22

That sounds like our Luna!

yukidomari 24-06-2011 17:46

Congratulations on your little girl!

Fede86 24-06-2011 18:19

Not necessarily  my male for example was A LOT worst at 5 months old than he is now at 2.5 years. I guess some Czech WDs are born thinking they own the world, and they need time to “grow up” and face reality

lupis 24-06-2011 19:34

very much nice dog. i see dogs from same line here. like them much too.

Yes, she thinks she owns the world :) But she is facing the reality every day. I think she will calm down in one year (OMG, my house).

Thank you all!
By the way, cheers from Portugal!

You're writing comedy now? :)

Seriously, Luna has matured a lot. She's about a year and a half now (actually, she just had that b-day yesterday!). She'll be a wild child and most likely you'll have some very rough times, especially around a year.

Luna is a wonderful companion but she still has her moments... :)

Our little girl is now 3,5 years and now she calms down a little. Don't give up the hope ;-). It will be better :p.

Wish you a lot of fun with your sweety.

Angela

She reminds me of this song When I grow up - Garbage Some parts of its lyrics:

On a cruise to freak you out
...
Entertain you
Celebrate you
I'll be back to frame you
...
When I grow up
I'll be stable
When I grow up
I'll turn the tables

...
Chaos rules when we're apart
Watch my temper
I go mental
I'll try to be gentle

:D

sssmok 25-07-2011 23:10

Andre: thanks for everything :)
I hope that you will do more photos of my little "precious" ;)

André 24-10-2011 12:45

She has now 9 months.
I have on the blog a video from her last socialization class. I realize wolfdogs plays with mouth much more than other breeds. The problem is I haven't convinced her yet not to play that way with us

Sir Allen 24-10-2011 17:01

Congratulations to you Andre. Wishing you and Misty the best!!!!!

Is this a general tendency?
Will they stop it one day?

André 12-01-2012 12:33
