Czech Wolfdogs in Israel

i am from israel. we have one blood line of csw in israel. the parents were brought from the boerder potrol in prauge. we adopted a female three days ago. she is 6 month old. she's been through a very rough life up to now, very neglected and was tied alone for the first part of her life. for the last month she's been back with her parents at the golan hights with the breeder who is a man who lives alone so she hasn't been around people to much. we have a house on a big land so she has pleanty of space. we also own another 6 year old dalmation who has wellcomed her fantasticly. she trusts him and copies him all the time. she is very good natured and very sweet but it seems like she doesn't trust us. she hardly comes from her own free whele to us for atention. she doesn't realy listen to what we tell her. but generaly it looks like it's geting better from day to day. i want to know if it is posible to rehabilitate her. will she be atached to us? can we train her? also i want to add a pic of her to get your opinion. she doesn't have a white mask, how bad is that? but i can't mange to add a pic to the mesege. i tried adding one to the galery under wolfdogs- pere it doesn't look like it worked, ? ? thank you ray |

When you sent the picture to [email protected] , Margo will take care it will be add :mrgreen: In my life I had several dogs (of different breeds, with bad circumstances in their first year), that I had to re-socialise before they could go to a new home. And with the most of them it did work out very well :D My first step was to give them "trust" in human and in the mean time I did show them I was the alpha (without pressure) in my behaviour (this also gives them rest and trust). And later on I did work out (step by step) the obedience. You have a very young dog, so you can have a lot of hope that everything is going all right in time. But be patient :mrgreen: , don't force things, be clear in your behaviour (be the alpha from the start), "read" the reaction of your dog by every new step, and don't give to much pressure. Need Help please - CzW in Israel

I just got 2 Ceskoslovensky WolfDogs. I live in ISRAEL and it's a new breed here. I got the two dog's from a guy that Import them 6 years ago from Ceskoslovekya, I really like this breed and told him i will be happy to start improve this breed in the country. the one problem i got is this guy breed his dog's 4 times and no new Blood lines in ISRAEL only from the two dog's. I'm really a breeder but i was working with PitBulls and after the new LAW here i quit it. I'm now looking for Kennels in the Ceskoslovekya (Working Dog's and also Show Dog's). I'm still new with this breed and the guy that give them is Old and not talk Hebrew so good so it's HARD to me to understand him, the two dog's have Ceskoslovensky pedigrees that are approved by the I.K.C. and now i'm looking to Import in the Future a new dog to improve a new blood line here. Please send us the pedigree names of your dogs (so we can also put it into the database). Are you the new owner od Ambra Schovanka? What is the name of the second dog? Cezar od Bulizniku? If not please write the names. After we have it we can send you a list of litter which will the best fit to your dogs according the pedigree. Thank you for the answer :D Yes the Dog name is Cezar he is the male dog. i don't remmber the female name. the Dog's are still with the Old Owner (GINADY), I'm now repairing my Kennels to a new CLE's .... so i still can't hold the dog's with me (got few PitBull's at home :lol:)... The old owner is moving to Ceskoslovekya soon so then i will have the papers and the dog's in my kennel. Cezar is a good working dog, I will ask him next week the Female name and also cupy the papers for u. Have a great weekend Gidi |

I'm from Neve Ativ 13 min from ginadi. I got now two pitbulls that are my PET's and never will send them! but for the other thy will find a good house in Kennels in East Europe. the PitBull Breed is R.I.P :frown: .... that what happend when u give ppl that don't need to have KID's have a DOG! http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/pictures/86280.jpg I hope to Start my new line with this breed.... i understand that the ppl from my country did not understand who am i :D . So let me introduce me :) My name is Gidi Ben Dor i live in Neve Ativ that is in the Golan Heights (below Mt' Hermon), I'm 25 years old and i'm a Qualified Dog Trainer that Own W.H.K's.... i'm now working on my new Dog Hotel in my village. I was Vice Chairman in the Israel PitBull Club but i quit it last year after thy did not wash the shit off this club (ppl that don't need to own this breed).... after the accident that a Am.Stuff kill a 4 years old girl i understand that this breed is dead! ... I love this breed but he don't have no future here so i decide to own my dog's in my friends kennels in East Europe and have my two Pet dog's (one is a PitBulla and the sec is Am.Stuff) at home. I know some of u want to own more dog's and i'm happy. I don't think like a Home Dog Owner! i think like a breeder and a true breeder think few year forward. we can import some new dog's and make a deal with ownership... I hope we all can be friends and make this breed a better in our small country. remmber it's the ppl that make this breed and we need to make it one big family. Yes, I`m Anna from Haifa and i think Genadiy told u about me. I don`t want to offend u, but I don`t think that it`s right to do money on dogs. I meen breeding, and not training. And what u want it to take the new, unusial breed to make money from the puppis. U live here, train the dogs and know that israelian people don`t now many about dogs and how to keep them. Wolfdog is a very attractive breed and many people would like to keep them only becouse of thire looklike, without knowing anything about his character. So maybe u realy could make money on this breed, but they will be next in the list of fobidden and dangerous breeds.........And I realy don`t want it to happen. Do u know how many puupis of Genadiy changed theire owners? Do u know how many his puppis were run down by the cars becouse they run free in moshav and people thought they wolfs? Do you know that one of his puupis was killed by police becouse he bite one boy??????? Isn`t it look like amstaff story???????? U don`t know it becouse Genadiy didn`t tell u all this. But I know, and I`m very distrub about this breed. And I prefer may be not to breed in our country at all, but not to breed it for money and sell puppis to everyone. I really don't know where you hear i want to make money on dogs? I'm not a Pedleer! .... Ginady all the time talking about Puppys and how mach money u can make and i'm like YES YES (not to insult him).... but don't forget I'M NOT A POOR MEN WHO NEED MONEY. I never look at a dog's like a ATM .... In the PitBull world it was mach more hard here. U make a breeding to see what u get not how mach money u make! 98% of the PitBull's owners are SHIT owners!... how mach time i seen puppys that the owner send them to DOG Fights and then band off in the St'! ... Ginady was sellong dog's to DROSE that know none about raising kid's so raising a dog is no place. Anna i'm not new in this dog world and i really hate when recklessnss ppl own a dog and ppl make money off dog's like ATM. Now i'm happy that u understand my head :cheesy: (I told u we think the same) ... i'm not going to breed Alfa (Ambra) and Cezar this YEAR. we need to put new blood into ISRAEL and not just Alfa (Ambra) and Cezar. but i still don't say i will never breed one of them, but for now Cezar is out from a STUD DOG .. I want to see the young prospects, maybe the prospects are not looking like the Standard. we will chat about it in 4 eyes in the future.
I hope u will join me in October to the I.K.C study .... will be nice. Anna learn from our mistakes with the PitBull's and the CW will be a better breed here :P |

I don`t think it`s a good idea to take Alfa to show - she doesn`t have normal tail and she is to small. But the tail is her big problem. And u need to cocialise here a lot for taking out to any place with dogs and people. Only if we not come to show u have any chance
I think it`s more importent to take here puppis to show. |
And one more thing - our meeting moved to 6.8.04. So I hope u could come. And befor u are wellcome in Hiafa

When I think about missing mask I mean something like this:

One more remark. If we are judging the mask then it should be judged based on overall colour of coat. It means that when the dog is very light he should have white mask but when he's darker with light gray coat color (without pure white) then it's enought when the mask has that specific colour - it's then considered that mask is OK (not even bad pronounced).

and can you tell me any thing more? maybe in private there are no judes that realy know the breed in israel so it will be hard geting a real opinion. |

So if we look at Cezar, his mask is not a Typical mask but still a mask that make the Standard?

It`s really very dificult to judje only by fotos. I could say mach more when I come. But even if she is out of standart shie`s very nice and u love here. U didn`t took dog for breeding, so it`s not so importent for u if she not 100% standart. Am I right? There will be big dog show in October and europenian judjes will come. Usualy they anderstand better this dreed than israekian do. So we could ask them about our puppis. If u want come to us to Haifa with dog, u`ll see the realy standart dog ( judje from Croatia and Poland jujded here and she got exelent) and they coulde play. We are wellcome ))))) |

As Alfa`s old ownwer said, here tail was broken during she played with other puppis. Now she has something like half tail and without any black end. May be it`s possible to explaine to jujde this story, I dont`t know.

We have 4 litters from AlfaXCezar and 2 litters from AbbaXCezar. Abba is my dog and she is Alfa`s sister. BUT. Only 2 last litters (11 puppis) of Alfa will get pedigree. |

About the mask:
It is pretty problematic because the mask is changing during the whole life of a dog. In the fact a dog should have good visible mask until it is about 1.5 years old (it is the time when most people make the bonitation with the dogs). But to be honest every year the mask is getting lighter and lighter....and all 10 years old dog have good mask... ;) So to talk about "genetic" we will need to see the photos of both dogs when they were young... :) So far according the photos both dog will get permission to be used in breeding even in origin countries. I know even 1998-99 many dogs had still problem with the mask and I know many females which almost had black mask but were used for breeding. And it was worth because if you will choose good dog for such female you can get really good results... :) |

First no one can add photos to this forum but he can make a LINK to a photo, how can u do it ? * Find a cute web host or a Photo Gallery.... Stand on the photo and "CLICK RIGHT BUTTON ON THE MOUSE" ... click on "PROPERTIES" and after a window will "pop up".... find the URL (that look like that " http://www.blah.com/hshs/filename.jpg ") and copy it. then when u got the URL go to the FORUM and click on the "IMG" BUTTON (below the Message Icons).. then when u got the [IMG] open (like this) Code:

I heard about someone in Ceisaria that has 2 dogs, but they are older the our, about 8 years old. May be u can take Genad`s dogs after you will return. It`s easy to find someone care after 2 dogs and not 4 )))) >can you take photos of the Puppy's (profile, front) that we can see angle's? Sure I`ll do photos. On this site you can find a lot of Planned litters you can click on kennelname for more info and contact the breeders personal.
