Wolfdog Destruction

Hi !

I need some photos of things wolfdogs have destroyed :
Cages, doors, furnitures, and so on....

So if anyone have some photos I can use, please send them to my mail :
[email protected] or attached by pm or upload them here so I can copy it from this page, but please remember to write if it is okey for me to copy the photos from this page, if nothing is written(in same post as the photo) I assume I am not allowed to copy the photo.

Thanks in advance :)

Uno got the newspaper before me :

Uno thought I was watching too much television and destroyed the antenna-cable :

Great topic, Rolf!

It would be much simpler and easier for me to just send you pictures of the one or two remaining items that my little "angel" hasn't laid claim to...yet.

I have always wondered if there wasn't some sort of "engineering" gene incorporated into the Czech vlcak breed. My dog is always taking things apart down to the smallest piece...I just figured she was trying to see what things were made of or learn how they worked, much the same as I did when I was a boy. She never seems to put them back together again, though... :)

You can see in the pictures below that she is quite proud of herself here after completely re-decorating the floor with what was the stuffing to her bed. Meanwhile, our other dog is crouching in the corner with disgust at this unruly behavior. We still love her, though!! I can say it is always interesting when I come home from work to see what she has been "working on" that day as the remnants are usually strewn all across the driveway.

P.S. Okay to copy pics.

Thanks Roo :cool3

It seems like she have a "party" while you are away
...actually I was thinking of naming the topic "Wolfdog Party", because of many CSW-owners knows what it means, to have a "Party-Animal" at home :roflmao

here on this site is an article of an CSW having destroyed a water bed because his owner failed to care for water supply.
I am sorry I don´t have any pictures only pictures of the things my second Irish wolfhound destroyed when she was young, she used to read a lot.

they are old pics.. but your dogs are all amateurs compared to oliver:
Friend's car: he was in a cage. Got out of cage... destroyed seat... broke glass:

Wooden windows: Bit them all, and with his teeth broke off a couple of staffs... all in one night.

Little gate... with screws drilled into the wall... he was "just" puppy then...

And of course sofa, chairs....

Question: how much does a wolfdog really cost??

miihar 31-01-2009 22:46

Hi everybody,

Well, about wolfdog destruction... The most expensive thing that our lovely Alaska destroyed was our sofa, the costs were about 2000 euros! Wolfdogs can get costly along time, but they are definitely worth it, aren't they :rock_3?

Regards, Miia

P.S. I sent you some photos of other events by e-mail

Mikael 31-01-2009 23:30

I think a sofa is normal wolfdog meat :rock_3

BUT... I think this far Mijke whit the waterbed and Massimo
whit his friends car is in the lead   8)

Our dog felt in love with the garbagecan.

I usually do not make photos of what Brukne destroys, but this was really interesting  http://public.fotki.com/VilkasBrukne...icture006.html I wonder how and why she decided to do it

The sadest and ugliest thing Brukne did when she was five months old... is... eating these three....

http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/j...s/trys-vi1.jpg

catching the iguana and breaking the cage of cockatiels... :shake:eviltongue

Also there are nice stories about, lets say, Iarila Girios dvasia, who managed to escape from the cage, open the LOCKED door of the flat and spend some time scaring away the neighbours :D Geryon z Peronowki once locked himself up in a car somewhere in a middle of nowhere, at a very cold night, leaving the mistress outside 8) (guess she could tell more about it )

Don't know how you train your dogs, folks. My dog never ever behaved like a demolition man :)

Btw like Rolf I also would like to present pics like this for my reconstructed gallery section :)

Hmm, and how do You train them, so that they do not destroy anything while staying alone?

My dog was properly educated by the breeder :p But honestly I'v never experienced any kind of "major destructive behaviour" like the one showing on the pics. 'course he may grab eatables from the garbage box if it's available and things like that, but nothing else. Guess I'm of the lucky kind :)

Juniorwolf 01-02-2009 18:45

Thanks for all the photos here and by email :)

Greetings Rolf
