please try to calm down, it is quite annoying to read posts with thousands of !!! of people that are too exited to get other posts right.
I am surely in no need to get jealous at breeders like PDL or de Louba Tar but I don´t think that mass production is of any good, especially not if there are animals involved. I know how many time it takes us to care for, work with and socialise 5 dogs and their few litters. We are talking of animals not furniture. No matter if the accusations against those two breeders are true or not there is - and always will be - a very big difference between people who keep 40 and more dogs and breed them and breeders that only keep a few dogs, think a lot about the mating partners, change these partners from litter to litter to get high genetic variability, keep the standart, go to bonitations and endurance tests and work their dogs THEMSELFS.

Well, I don´t know many people except animal shelters who need 16 metal boxes to keep their dogs. We breed regulary but definitly don´t need birth chambers, our dogs have their litters in our living room or bedroom, they do that because they want us to be with them when they give birth and because we sleep next to them the first weeks in case anybody needs help. We never needed such a thing like a covering box, for covering we go for a walk with both dogs and let them play together and mate as they like.
This is no discussion about PDL here and this is OT, I just mentioned it to make my point clear:
Everybody who keeps enormous amounts of dogs
and breeds with them will do that for money and nothing else. In both kennels there is not much genetic variety, not much care for the international standart, just care for the success on CACIB exhibitions because it helps you to sell dogs to people that are stupid enough to be impressed by uninteresting facts.
So please accept one fact, you may be right when you say Mrs. Keizer keeps her dogs properly but you will not be able to change the opinion of some people here looking at the breeding point. Therefor it is of absolutely no interest how successfull they are on exhibitions or how long they are breeding (besides the fact that the Saarloos, of which Mrs. Keizer is one of the main breeders, are a breed with extreme problems with inherited diseases). Both facts don´t change anything if the accusations proof to be right and both facts don´t help me to see them in a better light.
I don´t see much sense in keeping on with this discussion, we will not be able to find out the truth here. If Paul made up his case and will be able to proof his accusations we will hear of it and will know more.
