If the dog is socialized properly and have the right genetics you do not need ANY preparation... The dog will behave normal, without fear.

We tested already some dogs from West Europe which were not trained but had good and friendly character and the typical reaction for the decoy attack was.... invitation for playing... No shyness, no shock - just curiosity....

And it is really not about the bonitation... It is about daily life....
Do you "prepare" you dog for PAIN? For being hurt? In such situations you can see that there is the correlation between the character test and behaviour of the dog....
Stable dogs, which pass the bonitation without any problems when they get hurt (for example wounded because an accident) allow the owner to help them...
Dogs which have HUGE problems with the bonitation, can not deal with stress have in such situations the tendency to bite all around and everyone.... And we have already cases when the dogs was hurt (on the summer camp) and we had to help the dog and ALSO the owner who was seriously bitten by his OWN DOG... (the dog was in shock even of he was hurt REALLY SOFTLY - slited paw)
