By 2001 there was no intentions of adding more breeds to the list of banned "fighting dogs", except for the Police who wanted a ban on the American Staffordshire Terrier cause its close relations to the previous banned Pitbull. No one ever dreamed of a proposal of banning the wolfdog breeds - which later was raised by members of what in popular terms is called the Norwegian association of wolf haters and its supporters which at that time strongly lobbyed our Ministry of Justice.
