According Rosik the eyes have to be yellow-amber - this is the typical colour of eye and highly valued. This colour is like colour of the Czech beer (not the black one!

Also in the standard you can read: "
Eyes: Small, slanting,
amber coloured." but also "In body shape, movement, coat texture, colour of coat and mask,
similar to the wolf." If you look on the wolves you can see the majority have yellow (
shining yellow) eyes, less of them light brown and amber-brown. And very few brown.
Simply said:
yellow eye is better than darker. And brown eye is not typical....and a fault...
