Morian, Thank you very much for your reply. We are planning a trip to the Baltic Republics, like Latvia, Estonia.
We noticed that it wouldn't be far to skip to St. Petersburg, which we would love to visit.
But unfortunately we guess it won't be possible this year. My fiancee is still waiting for her passport and probably she won't get the document before the planned beggining of our trip (you need passport to get visa and it takes minimum 5 days). But the idea of trip to Russia is great, so maybe we will make it next year. And where are you exactly from, maybe some common walk would be possible? (ofc. if you are not from far, far, far away )
And referring to our dog, you are sure there isn't any extra payment for a dog for crossing the border (some kind of dog's visa )
We also have some doubts about possibilities of getting visa for us - we' ve read that you have to have invitation from Russian citizen or you have to have some document confirming our trip from travel agency which would organize it, but we were planing a trip on our own, without any agency (but we are not sure now is it posiible at all this way)
Thanks a lot one more time. Let's be in touch
Ps. GAGA don't worry! We are not planning emigration, we’ll be back. J
