Autumn Wolfdog Picking
the meeting of the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog-crazy ones.
The biggest Polish dog show (in Poznań),
The World Dog Show
this year, is a unique opportunity to see famous Wolfdog beauties from all over the world in a ring and try to compete for the highest titles.
The meeting schedule:
- You are invited to come on Wednesday, November 8 from 5 pm. There will be a chance to renew or begin friendship with the Wolfdog team.
- On a Thursday morning (November 9) we are going to the show (it takes about 15 minutes to get there from my place if there is no traffic!) and when we come back we will celebrate as long as we will be able to
- On Friday around noon we will go see Stobnica Wolf Park (about 50 km from Poznań). A qualified employee will tell us a little bit about the park. In the afternoon there will be a Training Seminar “Czechoslovakian Wolfdog as a working dog” – how to train and what to choose? (there will be a chance to speak to trainers and people working with Wolfdogs from Poland, Germany and Czech)
- On Saturday, November 11 (only for the most dogged ones
) around 11 we and the dogs will go see Poznań (if the weather is good), at 12 everybody is expected in the Old Market – the Wolfdog band will march around the Town Hall!
Then we will go back to the show, where World Championship in Obedience will take place.
In the afternoon we are going back or staying till Sunday morning to see the final of the Wolfdog marathon.
Please take:
- a mattress
- a sleeping bag
- possibly a chain or cage for the dog
Because of a large number of guests everybody is asked to contribute. We would like to ask every family to prepare one dish (in large amounts) of any kind (a salad, a warm dish easy to warm up, a cold dish, a cake, etc.)

Please declare or confirm your participation in the meeting, give the amount of people and dogs, names and sex of the dogs and the kind of dish you will prepare.
