We have some info about the World Dog Show in Poznan in Poland here:

The interesting thing is that any foregin champion if he/she will get CWC/CAC in any class (from intermediate up) he/she is automatically also Champion of Poland!

We will have also Obedience Championship - World Winner 2006

We will also organizate a big wolfdog meeting and competitions, but I will write about it later

The hotels in PL are pretty expensive. But there are also small hotels with 10-20 free places which cost only about 50%. But the only chance to get a free place there is to reserve it much earlier...

You're right. The prices are high but you can always check the link Margo gave to Skoczynska Travel where you can reserve the room in Hotels which are cheaper (but also a little bit more far away from the dog show). It starts from 80 PLN (which is about 25 EUR) for one person.

Przemek called the WDS office today and asked how many Wolfdogs will be there... They do not have the current number of entries but for the 01.09.2006 there were registered already 68 CzWs.

The chances to get a free room in Poznan during the show is now equal to zero. All places are reserved since over a month. The only possibility is to find some motel or hotel on the road to Poznan in a different city.

the meeting of the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog-crazy ones.
The biggest Polish dog show (in Poznań),
The World Dog Show
this year, is a unique opportunity to see famous Wolfdog beauties from all over the world in a ring and try to compete for the highest titles.

The meeting schedule:
- You are invited to come on Wednesday, November 8 from 5 pm. There will be a chance to renew or begin friendship with the Wolfdog team.
- On a Thursday morning (November 9) we are going to the show (it takes about 15 minutes to get there from my place if there is no traffic!) and when we come back we will celebrate as long as we will be able to

- On Friday around noon we will go see Stobnica Wolf Park (about 50 km from Poznań). A qualified employee will tell us a little bit about the park. In the afternoon there will be a Training Seminar “Czechoslovakian Wolfdog as a working dog” – how to train and what to choose? (there will be a chance to speak to trainers and people working with Wolfdogs from Poland, Germany and Czech)
- On Saturday, November 11 (only for the most dogged ones

) around 11 we and the dogs will go see Poznań (if the weather is good), at 12 everybody is expected in the Old Market – the Wolfdog band will march around the Town Hall!
Then we will go back to the show, where World Championship in Obedience will take place.
In the afternoon we are going back or staying till Sunday morning to see the final of the Wolfdog marathon.

Please take:
- a mattress
- a sleeping bag
- possibly a chain or cage for the dog

Because of a large number of guests everybody is asked to contribute. We would like to ask every family to prepare one dish (in large amounts) of any kind (a salad, a warm dish easy to warm up, a cold dish, a cake, etc.)

Important!
Please declare or confirm your participation in the meeting, give the amount of people and dogs, names and sex of the dogs and the kind of dish you will prepare.
The people who talked to me earlier about the accommodation have a place guaranteed (no comfort promised

People accommodated in other places are also welcome to take part in the meeting!
