Yes, there has been contact with the owner - between the breeder, me, and a few other helpful folks in the US. The owners have decided to seek some training with a professional trainer - and have finally "opened their eyes" that the breed is not a GSD. No matter how many times someone tells you, or how you try to see it in your mind - there is no way to "know" a wolfdog until you have met and lived with one. Or 8.

If they decide not to keep the puppy, now they know for sure there are safe places for the puppy to go. So, this is a relief for me, at least.
