Lightbulb Czechoslovakian, Saarloos or hybrid???

Hello, when we were in the woods, we saw a wolfdog and wonder if this is a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, Saarloos Wolfdog or hybrid. May be people on this forum know?

I couldn't get the picture on the forum, but i could get it in an album in my profile, so please go to my profile and let me know what you think!

Thanks!

Not the best photo to judge from, but to me it look´s like a Mix Wolfdog.

Best regards / Mikael

Hello Chinook,

I understand you live in the Netherlands; is the photo taken there? it is indeed hard to tell what a dog it is because the photo is very vague. I don't think it's a Saarloos, given the position of the ears and outline of them. It may well be a Czech, but just as much a hybrid/mix.

Do you own an Czech yourself?

Regards

Thnx everybody who replied. Yes, i understand you're right, it is hard to tell, so i uploaded the other pictures i have in my album. They're all the same dog, and it's a male. I hope the other pictures are better.

@Martiou: Ha-ha! I like your humour, yes, a dog it sure is!

greetings,

Chinook

I can only tell you my way. Go to www.photobucket.com, place your photo there, than copy the line under it and paste it here. (in fact there will be four lines under the photo, you need just to click on the very last one and it will be copied).

Or you can simply e-mail it to me and I'll post them - [email protected]

if it is a Saarloos, it is not one that really meets the breed standard Nice animal and my guess would be some kinda cross.

I agree with Nanouk.
But that also count for the Czech.

But I also know a mix saarloos/czech and that could be very possible because he has got simalar marks.
He is definitely not a hybrid.(for me a hybrid is under f5 mixed with a wolf)

Do you want to tell us, that this dog was alone in the forrest? He wears a collar. From my point of view it is an older (8+) male csw, czech line.

Hanninadina: No, the dog was not alone. I've been into animal resue and rehabillitation. I would never leave a dog or wounded or sick animal. But i'm glad you are concerned.

You think 8 plus for age. Why? And may be there's people on the forun who agree or disagree. There's a lot of experts on the forum, and i'm no expert.

The white hairs around his mouth looks like older dogs look. Of course, if you know that dog how is his behaviour, like young, middle age or old dog? Wolfdogs who are 7 up act sometimes more peaceful and calm.

Head is more german shepard like, and the color of the fur is more like czech csw and that is why I would say czech republic csw.

But please, you asked and only from picture one could not say real much, it is a try.
