BARDZO WAŻNE:

Z inicjatywy m.in. polskiego europosła pana Janusza Wojciechowskiego, w czerwcu br.zarejestrowano w Parlamencie Europejskim deklarację regulującą humanitarne traktowanie zwierząt - w szczególności zwierząt bezdomnych. Unia Europejska przywiązuje wielką wagę do strategii ograniczenia bezdomności. Strategia ta która obejmuje m.in. kastracje, identyfikację oraz ponoszenie przez właścicieli pełnej odpowiedzialności za posiadane zwierzę.

Aby deklaracja została zatwierdzona, musi ją podpisać co najmniej połowa
z 737 europosłów. Do dnia 16 września zebrano 223 podpisy.

Apelujemy zatem o aktywność i masowe przesyłanie maili do europosłów, aby uzmysłowić im skalę problemu oraz naszą siłę i determinację w tej bardzo ważnej sprawie.

Aby Państwu ułatwić, przygotowaliśmy na stronie tzw. "wersję szybką" - kilka kliknięć rozsyła wszystkie maile.
Zachęcamy do wysyłania do wszystkich europosłów, nie tylko polskich, wersji angielskiej.
Oczywiście jest również możliwość wysłania maila po polsku, tylko do polskich posłów.

Knowing that:

- in six years, one female dog and her off spring can produce 67.000 dogs

- in seven years, one female cat and her off spring can produce 420.000 cats

the only solution to end this neverending cycle of reproduction and the linked misery of all these innocent animals, can be the adoption of the Written declaration pursuant to Rule 123 of the Rules of Procedure on dog population management to the European Parliament 026/2011 calling the Member States to adopt comprehensive dog population management strategies that include measures such as sterilisation of owned and stray animals, dog control laws and the promotion of responsible pet ownership and to encourage the Member States to introduce the mandatory identification and registration of every dog, by means of EU-wide compatible systems, in order to avoid the spread of diseases.

With your signature you have the power to put an end to the suffering of Millions of unwanted animals in the European Union and I have trust in you that you will take the right decision in this very important matter.
