Biggest litter?
We welcomed a new litter of CSV puppies into the world today! 11 of them!
 7 girls, and 4 boys!I know I have seen this question posted before, but couldn't find it... What is the biggest litter ever born for our breed?

 I hope anybody can answer you about the number of puppies, because I realy don't know about csW breed

. My baby came from a litter of 10 & I haven't heared of any larger litters (until now)...

It is the perfect number for the female and give the biggest chances for the puppies to survive and develop well. The huge litters by "wolfish" CsW are sometimes caused by 'good luck'.  But usually it is influence of the Germans Shepherd Dogs where females give birth to much more puppies as she can care for (8-12 sometimes even more)... Huge litter are usually sign that the parents have more characteristics of GSD than of a Wolf.

I think there was one litter in France with 13 ... but i don't remember from who ?
Ar'wan MLS X Althea 7 loup cie had got 11 puppies alive (until 6 weeks, then 5 died from leptospirosis ...) for the first litter, and 10 puppies in the second one. Quote:
