Default Pronounciation of 'vlcak'

Please excuse my ignorance, but I would really appreciate it if someone could write out phonetically how I should pronounce 'vlcak'.

Thanks!

So many different answers, even the "best" has just two votes.

So, it's like vul-chuck? (With a short u)?

This is one questions I haven't been able to find an answer.

TY Pavel. With that accent I expected to hear "Your papers" next.

So the syllables would rhyme with "bull" "chalk"?

Will that be up for a while? Can I link it from my site?

"VL" like in second part of word "level", "Č" like in word "czech", "Á" like in "shark", but long, "K" like in "kilo".

Default IPA transcription

If you're familiar with the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), československý vlčák would be:

/ tʃ e s k o s l o v e ŋ ʈs k iː/ /v l ʈʃ aː k/

Oh but Hanka, it's so important to remember to have either Czech or Slovak selected as the language - and also to have the symbols above the letters...

I went to try "vlcak" (no symbols), and had the language selected on Dutch (from the last time I translated) - and instead it sounded more like "foo-cock", and with English - "Vul-cack"...and with Korean, "veal-shaky"... (to my native American English ears, anyway!)
