Default Jakie zaświadczenia do Rosji

Witam

Z góry dziękuję i pozdrawiam.

hello, you can contact me, i'm from russia. where exactly do you go?
you need vet passport with all vaccinations, rabies must be done not earlier than 12 month ago and not later than 3 months ago (hope i remember it good ), also you'll need standart vet certificate. that's all i think

Tatoo was enough until 3rd of july, now there's only chip valid if You want to cross ANY border.

I know veterinary law in UE because of my profession. Tatoo was valid until 3rd of July, now there's only one way for permament tagging of dogs- a chip. Tatoo was alternative way but now EU requests chip.
Maybe website wasn't update? On your own risk You can try to cross a border only with tatoo.
Second thing- from 3rd of July it's not possible to make a pet passport without a chip (only with tatoo).
I think that everything depends on customs officers and maybe they won't check the chip (who does?) but law is law...

eu requests chip, we don't. yes, pity - he can enter russia, but maybe can't enter poland after this. but this topic is about russian requirements. i live at 2 borders and we have many people with animals here entering russia everyday. many of them don't have chips. i have chips for example. but the question was - what does he need for entering russia. i answered. your law is your law, surely i can't talk about it. and one more thing. if he goes from poland (why i asked where exactly he wants to go) - maybe he will pass through belarus, then he must find their law because there is no border between russia and belarus now. and this is really important - where he enters russia (or belarus) exactly.

I agree with every word You wrote

But i think that Gipson will return to Poland so it's better if his wolfdog will have a chip

I tu musi spełnić wymagania UE.

Morian, Thank you very much for your reply. We are planning a trip to the Baltic Republics, like Latvia, Estonia.
We noticed that it wouldn't be far to skip to St. Petersburg, which we would love to visit.
But unfortunately we guess it won't be possible this year. My fiancee is still waiting for her passport and probably she won't get the document before the planned beggining of our trip (you need passport to get visa and it takes minimum 5 days). But the idea of trip to Russia is great, so maybe we will make it next year. And where are you exactly from, maybe some common walk would be possible? (ofc. if you are not from far, far, far away )

And referring to our dog, you are sure there isn't any extra payment for a dog for crossing the border (some kind of dog's visa )
We also have some doubts about possibilities of getting visa for us - we' ve read that you have to have invitation from Russian citizen or you have to have some document confirming our trip from travel agency which would organize it, but we were planing a trip on our own, without any agency (but we are not sure now is it posiible at all this way)

Thanks a lot one more time. Let's be in touch

Ps. GAGA don't worry! We are not planning emigration, w
e’ll be back. J
