I make the experience to only feed with raw meat and bones by one month for see the differences comparing with a dog feed with super-premium dry food, so, the difference and improvement of the dog was really impressive for who eat the barf.
In one month test, my dog stop fat and start gain only in muscular mass, high quality of coat, clean tooths without bad mouth smeel was the most visible things.

Well I have no doubt the BARF is the most suitted for wolfdogs. This said I will nevertheless continue seeking around ( my education is research, I'm stuck in this mode ) ... because there are also specifics problems associated with BARF, and all the owners simply don't do it because it's not as easy to have well balanced BARF (especially when the dog is still puppy) => the use of kibbles, so there is an interest to find the better suitted kibble for wolfdogs.

I continue for more 20 days, 5 days for change the old feed ( half maet/dry), I only see excelent results, but I back for dry-food/meat half feed because is easiest for conserve the dry food and less meat pieces on summer, but in the winter of 2008 I want start feed only with BARF and use no more the dry food.

It's funny the dogs reaction when you start give meat, after 3 days of test my dog when see me going to kitchen folow me waiting for receive meat, after the test, when I back to gives dry food on second hour she look at the dry food with such heart breaking face.

What kind of BARF are you all practicing, a complex thing with X% of that, Y% of that and so on for many elements ?
My vet told me that only raw meat + bones + grease + fruits, is needed and all the rest is useless ... sounds as an "easy BARF".

Well, it is said, that if a dog gets cattles' stomachs (not cleaned) they don't need any fruits or vegetables. My wolfdog gets raw meet with bones, various subproducts, raw sea fish, sometimes eggs or sour milk (just because she likes it a lot), but I never count the percentage or weight anything Believe me, it is really easy. And Brukne is happy about the way she is fed
