If we were to meet in Virginia...

John, are there pet friendly accomodations in/near Wintergreen? We used to stay in the Super 8 (it was very clean at the time, but not in an area where dogs could be allowed off leash) in Nelson county (about 25-30 minutes from the resort, as I recall) when I was in college with our dogs and we went snowboarding, but that was quite a few years ago. For that matter, what type of lodging are we interested in?

I found an interesting link while I was browsing for some cabins near Luray, quite a few are pet friendly, and several it seems are in clusters, if reserved early enough, which we would need for a sizeable group. Here's a link:
