When one buy a pup from La Louve Blanche kennel, here is the advise given by the breeder: it's forbiden to play with the pup until his/her six months.

Yet another point for La Louve Blanche kennel, to be continued ...

[censured] .....in fact y don t play with pupp as soon as they want bite me or someone else ...it s really important for an owner stop any contact to bite .... play with a little ball (or an other thing)it s not a pb but play with teef they need to stop strictly this ...y note they feel more mature to feel difference after 6 months .[censured]

I have different opinion. I spent a whole day with them in Germany, a few hours the night before the World Dog Show, in the middle of a parking with lot with campers who arrived in continuation, curious to assess the character of Volos as I followed this debate in the past.
I can not speak for what they have seen other people, but I can say with certainty what I found. I never seen Volos with his tail between his leg, never! In the parking in Stockhol he sleep all time with Merlin, with big Noise. In Stockholm fair center Volos was so calm. In Heingenbrucken for many minutes I touched and caressed Volos, on the head on the belly, I tried to embrace to see his reaction. No reaction of fear, no reaction aggressiveness...For me the carachter of Volos is OH...this is my direct experience.

Greetings Alessio

Congratulation to the results but it means nothing. Here in Italy Mrs. Bognarova let Galiba Crying wolf win raduno. He was very much shy and many breeders were surprised such shy dog can win so big show...

I can say the same for Blue. I never seen Blue with his tail between his legs. Galiba don't win special show in italy, he was first on his class. Sona Bognarova at Heingenbrucken say about Robin Hood Cryng Wolf: "this dog have excelent standard, very wolfish but is Very Good for his carachter!" this is a beatufil dog of Cryng Wolf with a bad carachter, but for me, for my experience is not the case of Volos, is not the case of Blue..

Galiba was best male.
Does anybody know how was the character of BOB on the same show??
please... let's stop this rubbish.
I can make a list of "famous" and "winning" dogs with terribly shy character.
I will NOT make names of course.

For me in dog show better character is worth MUCH MUCH more than wolf head.
"BIG SLOVAKIAN JUDGE" maybe thinks differently, I respect this but not necessarily I agree....
Anybody who is able to select and breed an offspring of Galiba with good character deserves my personal admiration. I know this dog very near and he can haunt your dreams with his looks..

Hi Alessio,

to understand wolfin´s nice little joke it is necessary to read the topic "tail". It has nothing to do with "the tail between the legs" but with "raising up the tail in sickle shape" (see Standard).

furyos simply doesn´t like this characteristic way of carrying their tails when they are excited.

cheers
Angelika

What is character of Blue? Good or bad. Woland write it is good. Furys write good character - but he is breeder of blue.
You write else. Are you trainer to write other thing? How you judge Blue character.

i wrigth about this what i SEE. and i see not very good strong charakter. in this dogs show only Blue have this tail position, and i know wolfdog charakter (maybe if i be judge and trainer) and this tail position not have normal dog with normal charakter.

but this is me opinion

and.. no more comments about Blue tail- i wright all who i will.

A palate!!!

Alessio calm down, if you want to write something only to Lupis you can do it, write a Private Message.
Don't make the same mistake as others, English forum = English language.
As I don't know Lupis, he/she can be a super expert as he/she can be somebody who has never seen wolfdogs before.
Does he/she deserve such interest and importance we are giving him/her?
Ignorance sometimes deserves to be ignored...

Massimo, i wrote in Italian because Lupis is italian, or he/she read and write very well in italian...the argoment are the subjects mentioned above
have been repeatedly discussed, is not a private matter between me and Lupis, even as my request for his/her presentation at the forum people. However, no reply to any more until his message should appear as a real person and not a troll!

Lupis, if you mean there only shy dogs from kennel Crying wolf you are completely wrong. I have Myla Crying wolf and she is like Oliver Passo del Lupo, isn´t it, Massimo?

Sona is looking for character too and I cannot imagine that she was putting Volos in germany speciality on BOB if he was not the best of breed as far I know Sona.
