So, Luna's breed is from the Czech Republic so she's Czech, correct?

Also, is cak the Czech word for dog? So she would be a Czech Cak?

She's a girl, too, so she's a Czech Cak Chick?

No no... her breed is not from Czech, it is from the former Czechoslovakian Republic and she is not a Cak (Pes) nor a Vlk, she is a Vlcak

I thought the Czech Republic retained 'country of origin" status after Czechoslovakia split.

Also, remind me to verify things that my wife tells me before I say things like this and make myself sound like a fool.

Both the Czech Republic and Slovakia are the countries of origin as they did build the former Czechoslovakian Republic and Slovakia got the patronage for the breed after the separation.

Nope. Our 12 year old collie does it, too (well, not as much now), especially after he takes a poop (well, more like leaves one) outside.
