As a dog trainer, I think domestic canine behavior is nothing more than stunted (less developed) wolf behavior. It seems to me that the further away from the wolf phenotype, the less wolf behaviors are displayed. Aside from that theory, I do feel strongly that resource management is effective in ANY situation. It is easily understood even by a perhaps "less intelligent" breed - as it is a basic drive.
I decided to go ahead and subscribe - at worse I may learn nothing new (though I truly believe you can learn something from everyone), at best I may find some information and resources I did not have before.
Either way, I am sure to see a ton of photos that will, no doubt, be esthetically pleasing to my eye...

The making of the wolfdogsmagazine is that everybody who wants one has to subscribe. One edition is not possible.

I subscribed - thinking that I would just start getting the editions... not only did I get the current issue, but they also sent me ALL the back issues from the beginning! Worth the price so far. I plan to write an article for them, too...

No sorry, I didn´t bother because I am not much interested in this kind of magazine as we have plenty of direct contacts and in my experience the owner´s description very often doesn´t corellate much with the reality outstanding objective people see, so I prefer to ask those or get my impression directly myself. We also don´t read dog magazins very often, at some point you have read it all before and we are into all this since a very long time.

But I don´t think it´s possible and it is difficult enough to get any direct contact.

Sounds good Lunas Mom. Every wolfdog owner can learn from other wolfdog owners because wolfdogs are much more different in their behaviour than any other breed. Even in csw there are so many difference. It is a pity that there are a few people this not recognize. It does not matter how long one is into dogs and especially wolfdogs. I know people who are over 30 years into it and are happy to hear about the experience from others.
