Thanks for the replies.
I wanted to understand myself what was involved before trying to communicate it to Bulgarian vets (my Bulgarian is OK but not up to technical or medical discussions!!). So would I be right to say that when a dog is listed as PRA free (eg in the planned litter listings) that this is the result of the eye test? Also, where can I get the blood test done (Laboklin have Shadow's DNA stored so I only need to get them to send to the appropriate place) if it is not possible to find someone in Bulgaria qualified to do the eye tests? |

There is yet No DNA test for PRA eye research of CsW available
More info about EVCO eye research for dogs you can find HERE In most cases an EVCO research will be enough. When a dog has specific eye problems an owner can also let make E.R.G. In my country only the university is doing this for research. Info about what is an E.R.G. , you can find HERE Sorry , but I could not find info about E.R.G. for dogs in English language!
