Hi! I am Czech, but I have to disappoint you. I think the song is about German Shepherd.
 It was described in other topic - most people in Cz.R. use "vlčák" (from "vlk" - wolf) for shepherds, but correct is "ovčák" (from "ovce" - sheep).
