a w ksaizeczce "wolf ethogram" w 2002r. to pisze pat goodmann, erich klinghammer, jessica willard, a fotografie zrobil monty sloan:
"Amble"
"In American Kennel Club terminology, this is a lateral gait - both left legs move together and both right legs move together (as in pacing). When wolves walk, it is a lateral gait, left legs moving together, right legs moving together, so it is an amble in the AKC sense of the term but in our ethogram it carries the connotation of relaxation, often with somemeandering. In contrast, a canine approaching something in a straight line often shows, in addition to the agit, additional overt, goal oriented expressive behavior such as ears pricked and turned forward and a stare. Ambling may be incorporated in an indirect approach."
"Walk"
"A wolf's walk is often actually a slow pace with the lateral legs moving together."
